lettering for Wabash or N.J.I.&I. single-sheathed 40' auto boxcars

From 1925 through 1929, the Wabash received 4,800 of these cars, mostly from AC&F. Other buiders were Pressed Steel and Pullman- Standard. Road numbers were very confusing. In 1925 they started with 40000-40999, and by 1929 some numbers were 17000-17299. The cars we are concerned with here are ACF’s 45000-49799, delivered between 1926 and 1929. Models are PSC 15551 and 15553.
