Lettering for ACL 1937 AAR and 1923 rebuilt boxcars - 1950's repaint scheme

In December 1941, the ACL took delivery of 800 1937 AAR box cars built by AC&F, Lot #2301. They were assigned road numbers 20000-20799. In January 1942, Pullman-Standard delivered an additional 830 cars of the 1937 AAR design, Lot #5687. These received road numbers 20800-21629. Car #27310 was built in 1923 and rebuilt as seen in 1944. It too is received the 1950’s repaint scheme in September 1956. Artwork and lettering by Protocraft Decals.
