The Western Pacic took delivery of 350 Modied 1937 AAR 10’-6” IH design boxcars in January, 1945. Built by Mt. Vernon Car Co, Lot #9722, Series 20201-20550.

Paint & Lettering: Car body painted red-brown: TCP #204, or (1 part Floquil #74 + 1 part Floquil #186) Underbody and truck side frames painted with black car cement. Wheels were unpainted and allowed to rust and gather a coating of axle grease and road grime.

The cars were lettered with white stencil paste including the medallion. Lettering designed and created at Protocraft Decals
