Paint & Lettering: Cars were painted a medium red-brown: Glidden #11 Maroon, matches paint chip for TCP-923*. Be sure to modify this color with a slight
amount of TCP-179 to achieve a certain amount of natural oxidation that would be on the prototype.
To be correct, the slogan Main Line of Mid-America was not applied until December 3, 1947. By 1951, the 1” lines in the reporting marks were no longer
used.
