![]()
In April 1936, the Canadian Pacic received 700 boxcars of the new 1932 ARA design. Built at the Canadian Car & Foundry’s Montreal plant as Lot 1024. They
were assigned road numbers as Series 225000-225699.
Paint & Lettering: Recommended color is Oxide Red with a dash of orange added. It might be wise to add a 10-15% gray to cut down this a bit as it may look
too bright on a model.
Cars were delivered with no slogans. In 1950 the stepped ‘CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY’ lettering was introduced. In 1963, this was replaced by a script version
of “Canadian Pacific” All schemes, with artwork by Rick Leach, are available from Protocraft Decals.
