lettering for 1937 AAR design boxcar for MONON

In October 1941 and April 1942, the MONON received 450, 1937 AAR box cars from Pullman-Standard, Lot #5667B and 5707. Series 9000-9449.

 

Paint & Lettering: Car body painted freight car red : TCP-223. Underbody and truck side frames painted black car cement. Wheels were unpainted and allowed to rust and gather a coating of axle grease.
