Lettering for 1923 8'-7" Ih steel boxcars - 1940's era

The NB received 218 cars between 1931 and 1935 that were originally built by AC&F, Lot 9577, in 1923 in an order for 300 cars for Universal Portland Cement, Series 701-1000. (Note: Hannibal Connecting received an additional 65 cars from Portland Cement.. The remainder of the cars went to Universal Atlas Cement Co.)
