![]() The Kansas, Oklahoma & Gulf Railway, a subsidairy of the the Missoui Pacic Railway Company, received 3 Modied 1937 AAR design boxcars from Mt. Vernon Car Company in April of 1943. Assigned Series numbers 30006 through 30008.
Paint & Lettering: Car painted M.P. freight car brown - TCP-923. Be sure and add in a little TCP-179 grey to replicate normal oxidation. Underbody
and truck side frames coated with black car cement. Wheels unpainted and allowed to rust and gather a coating of road grime and axle
grease. A good representation of this patina is to paint the wheels and axles with a 50% mixture of Grimey black and Sinc Chromate primer.
