Series 21000-21399, 400 cars, Standard Steel Car Company, delivered September-December 1926 - 3-panel car builder doors
Series 21400-21799, 400 cars, Bethlehem Steel Car Company, Lot 3029, delivered December 1926- Jan 1927, Youngstown doors
Paint & Lettering: Cars were painted with CNJ’s freight car brown. Lettering all white stencil paste. By 1956 the CNJ went to a much larger medallion and
increased the reporting marks to 9”, but other than that little change. 21240 below has had long side sills added for extra support.
