as-delivered lettering (1924) from GARC

In February, 1924, General American Car Company delivered 250 40’ wood refrigerator cars to the Rock Island Railroad (C.R.& P), Series 67750-67999. Car sides were a medium yellow with mineral red oxide roofs and ends. Underframe, ladders, door hinges, hasp and toe kick, black car cement.
