Lettering for 1923 wood reefer - 1950's repaint scheme

Western Fruit Express was formed in 1923 as a Great Northern Railway a.liate of the Fruit Growers Express Company. During the 1920’s and 1940’s the WFEX had a fleet of over 7,000 wood cars, the majority of which were built by Haskell & Barker. Sides were painted reefer yellow with mineral red roof and ends, black underbody and trucks. Lettering designed and created at Protocraft Decals
