lettering for General American leased wood reefers

The MK&T (later M-K-T) ordered 200 wood reefers from General American Car Co in 1923. They were assigned Series numbers MK&T 52000-
52200. The cars were then leased back to General American Refrigerator Express Company (GARX) in the same year and renumbered as Series
9000-9199.

Paint & Lettering: Car sides were painted 50/50 yellow-orange; ends and roof painted mineral red and underframe coated with black car
cement. Lettering and medallion black stencil paste.
