lettering set for Wilson Car Lines 37’-3” wood reefers

Wilson Car Lines owned 1,500 37’ wood reefers built between 1939 and 1949. Series 8100-9600.

 

Paint & Lettering: Car sides were painted a medium orange with freight car red ends and roof. Lettering all black stencil paste with white

and red herald. Large herald was adopted in the middle 1950’s.
