Lettering for ART 1925 wood reefer cars - 1950's repaint scheme

The American Refrigerator Transit Company was established in 1881 in St. Louis, Missouri as a joint venture of the Missouri Pacic and Wabash railroads. By 1920, ART had a eet of 3,000 reefers, and by 1930, over 12,500. The cars were painted with bright yellow sides; ends and roof were box car red; truck sideframes and underbody black car cement.
