In May 1926, American Car & Foundry built 400 wood refrigerator cars under Lot 116 for the purpose of leasing them to a number of lessee’s

in small groups. Within that group were 73 cars leased to White Rock Water Company of Waukesha, Wisconsin, as Series 55069-55164.

Paint & Lettering: Car sides painted reefer yellow with ends and roof painted mineral red. Underbody coated with black car cement.
