AC&F. The SOO employed at car series numbers and used odd numbers only: 4401, blt May 1914, 4403, blt June 1915, 4405, blt October 1927
and 4409, blt June 1928. Inside were two 4529 gallon water tanks.
An additional 4 water cars were built at AC&F’s Berwick plant in January 1913 under Lot 6855. Cars were numbered CWSX 2,4,5 and 9. These
4 cars contained two 5,000 gallon water tanks and did not have the two small doors to access the discharge valves.
The cars had conventional but rather short doors on the right side and just two small access doors on the left to hook up the discharge
hoses.
Paint & Lettering: Car sides were painted reefer yellow with ends, trim boards and roofs painted in mineral red. Lettering black stencil paste
on yellow with white lettering on mineral red.
