lettering for Clinton’s 6,000 gallon two-dome tank cars

Clinton Corn Processing had a leased fleet of over 1,200 tank cars. Under the name Clinton Foods Inc., Clinton produced 190 proof neutral spirits with delivery to another Standard Brands subsidary, Fleischmann Distilling Corp in Peekskill, N.Y. and later Dayton, N.J. Clinton Foods leased three, 8,000 gallon, two-dome tank cars for this service: GATX 1647, 1661 and 1720.

Paint & Lettering: Tank painted aluminum. Bottom sheet, underframe, brake equipment and trucks painted black. Lettering red and black with red on white logo.
