The Northern Pacic had approximately 400, 24 foot wood cabooses. Built between 1907 and 1921, they saw service through the 1960’s. During rebuilding,
ends, widths of cupola, platform length, trucks, and other features changed as rebuilt or not, resulting in quite a variety of small diences - reference to
photographs is best.
