In October of 1952 the Burlington’s Shops built 200 of the Greenville design gondola cars for the CB&Q as Series 82000-82199, and in
December 1953, delivered 70 cars to subsidairy Colorado & Southern as Series 21500-21569.
The CB&Q cars came with Nailable Steel Flooring, Improved Dreadnaught Drop-ends, side-mounted roping staples, and Ajax Power hand
brake.
Paint & Lettering: Cars were painted with the Burlington’s Mineral Red. Lettering all white stencil paste.
