Western Pacific GS gondola for wood chip service

Originally built in 1953 as General Service cars, Series 9101-9400. In 1958 they were converted to wood chip cars in WP’s shops and renumbered as Series 5001-5070. Although badly faded and oxidized, the top lettering was a lime green on creosote black siding the road name both found originaly white then WP’s yellow. Lettering created at Protocraft Decals
