1937 50-ton Andrews with bolted journal boxes

An all brass model of the Andrews 50-ton freight truck that replaced the out-lawed arch-bars.  Reusing the old arch-bar journal boxes, the Andrews allowed the railroads to meet AAR interchange requirements while economizing on the reuse of the journal boxes which simply bolted up to the Andrews cast sideframe.

The model built in Korea by Boo Rim Precision, features ball bearings for easy rolling, full brake detail, working journal covers and sintered hardened steel rib-back wheels.  Wheel treads polish easily for a prototype running appearance.  Painted black and ready to run.  .2mm mounting screw and spring included.  $52.95 a pair.
