This all brass model of the TC’s 100 cars numbered as Series 7900-7999, built in April 1941 under Lot 5655, is beautifully crafted by Boo Rim Precision, Korea, and embodies some very interesting components: the Pullman patented flat panel riveted roof, and the very unusual Pullman patented ribbed ends that rolled around the corners. (note: Pullman also built over 1,000 of the same car for the Wheeling & Lake Erie but with Youngstown doors, these eventually going to the Nickel Plate Road and relettered in 1949 - See PC-3511) All models come with brass Betterndorf trucks running on ball bearings and sintered steel rib back wheels with working journal box covers Accurate decal sets for two TC lettering schemes as renumbered are available at Protocraft Decals. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
