Beginning in November 1942 the Nickel Plate received 50, 50-ton flat cars as follows:
 

Series 3000-3049, 50 cars, Pullman-Standard Car Company, Lot 5720A, delivered November 1942. 50-ton rating

Series 3100-3249, 250 cars, Greenville Steel Car Company, O.O. 567, delivered August 1951 - 70-ton rating

Series 3250-3349, 100 cars, Nickel Plate’s Brewster Shops, delivered March 1957 - 70-ton rating
 

Paint & Lettering: Cars painted all black. Letting white stencil paste. There is no end lettering. The curved leg of the R in Road was used beginning

in 1941; in 1946, it was replaced by the long legged R in Road.
