![]() In 1928, the NP received 200 straight-side, 50’-0” design atcars numbered as Series 60000-60199. In 1936, the NP’s Como Shops in St. Paul built 250 52’ cars numbered as Series 60250- 60499. In 1929, the NP received 300 more 52‘ cars from Pressed Steel Car Co as Series 60500- 60799 (in the late 1960’s the NP entered a renumbering program for most of it’s fleet) In June of 1943, the NP received 300 55-ton, 53-6” at cars with shbelly sides, from American Car & Foundry under Lot 2601, and assigned Series numbers 62000-62299. (note: in 1965 these cars were renumbered to 62500-62599 Series) Paint & Lettering: Cars painted all black and lettered with all white stencil paste.
