In May of 1932, the NP received 150, 50-ton, non-standard twin o-set hoppers from Pressed Steel. These were followed in January of 1940 through

1941 with 700 of the AAR Alternate Standard 50-ton, o-set hoppers as follows:

Series 70050-70199, 150 cars, Pressed Steel Car Co, non-standard of 34’-9” IL - delivered May 1932 (not covered in this decal set)

Series 70200-70399, 200 cars, American Car & Foundry, Lot 1992, delivered January 1940 - National B-1 trucks

Series 70400-70599, 200 cars, General American Transportation Car Co, February 1940 - National B-1 trucks

Series 70600-70899, 300 cars, American Car & Foundry, Lot 2195, delivered April 1941 - National B-1 trucks
