![]() Built by the Magor Car Corporation under Lot P668, and assigned road numbers as Series 68000-68199 and delivered in October of 1928. Again in October of 1930, this time built by Pressed Steel Car Company’s McKees Rocks plant under PSC Lot 7, as Series 68100-68199. These cars represented the ERIE’s first all-steel, 50’ Automobile/Furniture cars. Cars were equipped with a Chicago-Cleveland Radical roof, a 3/3/3 square corner Dreadnaught “B” end, and end doors supplied by Standard Railroad Equipment Corp of Chicago; 4/6 panel double riveted sides, 10’-0” inside height, Ajax Vertical staff hand brake and wood running boards. Bettendorf design 5’-6” w.b. 50-ton trucks.
