![]() In October of 1941, the Kansas City Southern received 200, 50’ boxcars from Pullman-Standard Car Manufacturing Company under Lot 5681. Assigned road numbers as Series 25100-25299. Cars came with an 8’ side door with a one foot extension allowing for a 9’ opening. Construction was unique in that it employed a Pullman Patented flat panel riveted roof and Pullman Patented Corregated ends. (Identical 100 cars under the same lot number were built for co-owned Louisiana & Arkansas - see PC-3721)
