USRA 40-ton double sheathed boxcar, ATSF Class Bx-2 with CT for Colombia Trust

Santa Fe’s USRA boxcars with their original as-built lettering scheme of 1919 with the 48” herald. These cars ran with this lettering for more than 20 years until rebuilt and relettered in 1939. Entire car painted ATSF Mineral Brown (2 parts Tuscan Red, 1 part Box Car Red), trucks and underbody black. Note the placement of the herald at 1/8” down from the roof and 3/4”from the left end, and that the “AT&SF” is into the hand grab area. Smallest “AT&SF” is placed in the center of the door..
