lettering for WM’s 1937 AAR boxcars with 1953 Speed Lettering scheme

The Western Maryland received 800 1937 AAR design boxcars in the late 1940’s. The cars had 7’ wide Youngstown doors and Duryea underframes and an

inside height of 9‘-11”. They were delivered and assigned as follows:
